Longtime users of Linux have all kinds of tricks up their sleeve to make their work more efficient. Rather than you figuring all of that out on your own, here's all their deepest guarded tips, for free:

Quick Reference Guide

  1. alt+tab

    Alt Tab: Switch between applications

  2. alt+`

    Alt `: Switch between windows in one application

  3. super key

    Windows or Apple key: Go to your Activities Overview

  4. control+f

    Control f: Find files on your computer

  5. control+q

    Control q: Quit an application, closing all of its windows

  6. control+w

    Control w: Close the current window

  7. control+c

    Control c: Copy text, or a file

  8. control+v

    Control v: Paste text, or a file

  9. add remove software

    Activities Overview > Add/Remove Software: Find and install new software

  10. app launcher

    Activities Overview > Applications: Find and launch software already on your system

  11. see your files

    Activities Overview > Files: View your files on your computer
