Wacom, the leading manufacturer of digital drawing surfaces, employs a programmer dedicated to writing Linux drivers for their tablets. Her work pays off; Wacom tablets are plug-and-play on Linux.
To tweak the settings of your tablet, launch the Wacom settings utility from the Activities Overview. This control panel has all the most common settings for the tablets.
There are some advanced configuration options for some tablets available by installing the Wacom Express Keys configuration tool, available from the Add/Remove Software application.
