Upon activation, the floor, walls, and ceiling of a particular stretch of dungeon, or a particular room, begin seeping an impossibly sticky glue. The characters are trapped, unless hovering or flying.
Characters must make Strength or Saving Throws to move, and will require 1d4 of them to clear the area. Alternatively, the characters may choose to remove their armor, clothes, or other equipment, in order to squirm free. Anything caught in the glue trap is completely stuck, and must be abandoned (GMs option).
Getting through this trap without getting stuck would require sand, sawdust, or something similar, sprinkled along the surface of the affected area.
Optional: Characters may cover themselves in oil, either before, or after being stuck, in order to get through.
